1.1: Godot version update


Fixing a few issues I found while working on my next game, which is built around this system. I’ve also switched to Godot 4.4.1, though that shouldn’t make any real difference.

What I changed:

  • Timers will actually autostart if you set the autostart parameter.
  • The sun is now optional in DemoPlayer; this should allow fully indoor levels where there isn’t a sun.
  • Line-of-sight raycasts will exclude the parent. I had them nested deeper here than in the demo scene.
  • Omnilights can have a minimum range. If you’re closer than this, you get hit with the full intensity.
